Hand-painted resin statue depicts the Buddha as Shakyamuni ("Sage of the Shakya people"), seated in meditation posture in what is termed "Calling the Earth to Witness" posture. At the moment of Shakyamuni's enlightenment, and transformation into the Buddha, he touched his right hand to the ground, calling the Earth to witness his victory over the material world. What a powerful moment!

A little bit of history: The Buddha's name was Siddhartha Gautama and he was a prince of the Shakya people.  He renounced his riches and dedicated himself wholeheartedly to seeking enlightenment through meditation.  Through his great spiritual strength in meditation he attained enlightenment, and his teaching of the Middle Way of even-mindedness spread into the world. The Buddha is now one of the most widely represented great masters of meditation.

    How To Measure

    • 1 Sleeve (Garment Measurement)

      Sleeve length measured center back of neck to end of sleeve.

    • 2 Chest / Bust

      Measure at the fullest part of your chest, keeping the tape parallel to the floor.

    • 3 Waist

      Measure at the smallest part of your waist. This is usually below the rib cage and above the hip bone.

    • 4 Hip

      Measure at the fullest part of your seat, keeping the tape parallel to the floor.

    • 5 Outseam (Garment Measurement)

      Measured from top of the waistband to the hemline.

    • 6 Inseam (Garment Measurement)

      Measured from the crotch of pants down to the hem of the pants leg.
