Bamboo Open Front Jacket

I absolutely love this jacket. It’s lightweight, the fabric drapes, beautifully, and it works with so many of my outfits. But the reason I’m giving it three stars is that the fabric is incredibly fragile. I live in a city and take public transit to work, carrying my laptop in a backpack. After commuting in it just one time, The fabric pilled extensively from the friction with my bag (see photo). I’ve never had this happen before with other fabrics like merino or Cashmere and was so disappointed! I was not able to return it because it had been “mishandled” (though I did get a small gift card, which was appreciated.) I’m sharing this review because I think potential buyer should know that it’s really a delicate fabric for good wear, not an every day workhorse which I hoped it would be. I wish it was more durable because I could see myself wearing it every single week.

I absolutely love the banded jacket by Sivana and wanted to love this too. The material is noticeably thinner, which may be perfect for hot days. Additionally the upper sleeves were noticeably smaller, making it not look great. I had to return, but will but another banded jacket.

Beautifully made, extremely soft. Cozy. Looks great with shirt.

Black is my favorite color and this is my favorite jacket/sweater to wear anywhere. Sivana tops wash up so well and hold their shape!! I just hand wash and hang up to dry. Put in dryer on air for just a few minutes helps get the water out.

This jacket either arrived with a hole under the armpit, or ripped there the first time I wore it. I didn't notice the hole until I was already on a trip. Fortunately I was able to get a sewing kit and mend it, but that was very disappointing. Also, just for info, it was not warm enough on the plane over a short-sleeve shirt. It might have been okay over a long-sleeve shirt, but it was 90 degrees on the ground. I was also not crazy about how long it is in the front.

I love this jacket! It is lightweight and just what I need when I need just a little something to take the chill off. I love everything else that I have purchased from Sivana!I would recommend their brand totally!!

The material is light for Arizona weather, but enough to take chill off from air conditioning.

So soft and flows beautifully. Throw it over a tank with jeans or a slip dress. Dress up or down. Great for travel!

I absolutely love the feel of the material. I love ever item I have bought. This open front jacket is just right (got one in each color🤩). The fit is perfect and wears very well. I’m a truly a very satisfied customer and will continue being a customer.

This is such a versatile piece to wear! It perfectly complements so many different tank tops and short sleeve tops. It feels cool and comfortable, even in warm weather. I plan to purchase this jacket in several other colors, too! I love Silvana!

If you live, like I do, in hell's half acre, where the daily high is over 110 for months at a time, you know that you stay cooler covering your skin rather than exposing it to the damaging sun's rays.
