I’m extremely happy with my new Bamboo Dolman Long Sleeve Tee in Grey.
The material is buttery soft and so, so cozy, which makes it such a joy to wear. I never want to take it off. It’s perfect to wear to work &/or to lounge in at home. I know I’m going to use it as a layering piece as soon as it gets colder and wear it either w/ my puffer vest or under jackets and sweaters.
It’s amazingly versatile - cool for the hot summer days, and warm enough/perfect for layering when it’s cold out.
Initially I wasn’t sure which size to order. If I were to order based on the website’s suggested measurements, I would have had to purchase a Large (mostly going off chest measurements). However, after reading the reviews I realized I should definitely size down. I ended up ordering a Medium, which turned out slightly larger than what I wanted. Medium (for me) was great for getting that super comfy/cozy oversized look to lounge around &/or do errands. If you’d like to look more put together, however, I’d recommend sizing down since the shirt is already boxy. The Bamboo Dolman Tee is an all season staple: it’s a simple & yet an objectively well designed & constructed piece.
I love the look of its tapered hemline as well- this detail makes it more fun & versatile to style. I enjoy wearing the front tucked into jeans &/or pants while the back remains untucked and draped over jeans or pants. I enjoy wearing the tee both tucked or untucked.
I also love how easy it is to roll up the sleeves or wear them naturally.
When I realized I wanted to exchange the size: Medium size for a Small, Sivana Team was lovely: they wanted to ensure I was happy with my order & made a v quick exchange for a Small, which fits me perfectly.
Overall, customer service was impeccable: thorough & thoughtful, the team frequently updated me on my exchange progress. Shipping was lightning fast - it took 3 days.

This shirt is super soft and washes beautifully! I would recommend sizing down a size as it is very flowing. I love wearing it on our Florida winter days.

My third purchase of a dolman tee. Super soft and flowy. I’m a hot person and this top allows my body to feel cool. I’m between a medium and a large. I went for the medium and it fits perfectly. I’ve also purchased two loungewear sets which I adore.

I love the color. I love the fabric. However, after one wash, the shirt is crooked. Somehow the seams have spun, and the rounded bottoms in the front and back are not in the front and back anymore. And I followed the care instructions carefully. A bit disappointed, but I’ll still wear it.

How does bamboo feel compared to cotton?
Softer and smoother. Up close, cotton fibers are flat and twisted with tiny fuzzy ends, which gives cotton its slightly dry, textured feel. Bamboo viscose fibers are round and smooth, so the fabric feels silky, drapes instead of standing stiff, and feels cool the moment you put it on.
Will it stay soft?
Yes. Bamboo gets softer with each wash, where cotton can feel stiffer over time, especially when it's line dried.
Is bamboo cooler or warmer than cotton?
It breathes well and draws moisture away from your skin, so it feels cooler and less clingy than cotton on warm days. When it's cold, it layers easily under a cardigan or wrap.
What is bamboo viscose? Is it the same as rayon?
Yes, same thing. Bamboo is broken down into pulp and spun into a fine, smooth fiber. Viscose and rayon are two names for that process.
How do I care for it?
Machine wash cold on gentle with a mild detergent, then tumble dry low or hang to dry. Skip bleach and fabric softener (it doesn't need it). Heat can shrink bamboo, so cool and gentle keeps it true to size.
