Why bamboo

Soft by nature.

Every piece we make starts with one of the fastest growing plants on earth and ends up as the softest thing in your closet.

We chose bamboo for how it feels.
The longer we wore it, the more reasons we found to love it.

This is cotton, up close.

Short, flat fibers that twist as they dry, with loose ends sticking out in every direction.

That's what you feel.

Those tiny ends brush against your skin all day. It's why even a soft cotton tee can feel a little rough.

This is bamboo, up close.

Long, round, smooth fibers. Nothing frayed, nothing sticking out.

That's the softness.

Nothing to catch or rub, so it glides over your skin and drapes like silk.

Softer with every wash

Soft from the first wear

Bamboo fibers are naturally smooth, so the fabric feels silky the moment it touches your skin. It keeps getting softer, too, as the fibers relax a little more with every wash.

It breathes with you

Bamboo fabric lets air move through and pulls moisture away from your skin, so you stay fresh and comfortable from a morning walk to a long day by the water.

Gentle on sensitive skin

Smooth, lightweight knits with nothing scratchy or stiff, so it feels easy on your skin from morning to night. A favorite for anyone who finds rougher fabrics irritating.

Drapes beautifully, keeps its shape

A touch of stretch lets every piece move with you and spring back, so it falls the same flattering way wear after wear.

From grove to wardrobe

  1. It grows fast

Bamboo is one of the fastest growing plants on earth. Some kinds can grow almost three feet in a single day.

  2. It grows back

When stalks are harvested, new shoots come up from the same roots, so the grove doesn't need to be replanted.

  3. It asks for little

Bamboo usually grows on rainfall alone and thrives without the heavy watering many crops need.

  4. It becomes fabric

The bamboo is broken down into a soft pulp and spun into a fiber called bamboo viscose. Most of our pieces add a touch of spandex for stretch, then we design them into clothes you'll reach for every day.

Keep it soft

A little care keeps every piece as soft as the day it arrived.
