Red Lotus Lakshmi statue depicts the Hindu Goddess Lakshmi, who represents wealth and prosperity, in both the material and spiritual realms. The word Lakshmi is derived from the Sanskrit word Laksme, meaning goal. Lakshmi, therefore, represents the goal of life, which includes worldly as well as spiritual wealth and success.  In Hindu mythology, the Goddess Lakshmi is the divine consort of Lord Vishnu, the preserver of creation. She bestows her bounty on all, providing Vishnu with the means for the maintenance and preservation of the cosmos.  

Her four arms represent the four directions in space, symbolizing the omnipresence and omnipotence of Lakshmi. The color red color signifies activity and the golden embroidery of her dress denotes prosperity. The idea conveyed here is that the Goddess is always busy distributing wealth and prosperity to the devotees. The lotus seat, which Lakshmi upon which she stands suggests that, while living in this world, one should enjoy its wealth, but not become obsessed with it.  Such living is analogous to a lotus growing in the muddy waters, remaining pure and untouched by its surroundings.

    Sleeve length measured center back of neck to end of sleeve.

  • 2 Chest / Bust

    Measure at the fullest part of your chest, keeping the tape parallel to the floor.

  • 3 Waist

    Measure at the smallest part of your waist. This is usually below the rib cage and above the hip bone.

  • 4 Hip

    Measure at the fullest part of your seat, keeping the tape parallel to the floor.
