I'm a teacher and I live on restricted budget. While Sivana's clothes initially seemed too expensive for my reality I was seduced by the promises of the bamboo fabric being good for my sensitive skin and ordered a yoga wrap. A year later I own 5 yoga wraps in various colors, 2 pairs of lounge pants, etc. Last summer I lived in these pants. They were MY FAVORITE pants--although I agree the sizing was too big and I would have ordered an XS if that had been available. I justified my purchasing of clothes that were more expensive than what I thought I should spend because they were sustainable and American-made. There's nothing sustainable or economical about a pair of pants that is no longer usable because the small threads of elastic gave out. When I contacted Sivana about the issue they said, "We are unable to accept returns/exchanges after the 60-day return window on styles that are showing signs of pilling, snags, wear and tear." (I was not asking for a return or exchange--I wanted to notify them of a quality issue.) My pants were worn for 4 months and show no signs of "pilling or snags"--they were, however, worn and washed (on cold and dried on low). If you're like me and expect a garment that you made an investment in to make it across multiple seasons with good care, these are NOT the pants for you, however cute and stylish they may be. My yoga wraps continue to hold up after many washings (a kid sneezes on me and into the wash the sweater goes!) and seem to be better…
