The necklace is pretty, but it was not quite what I expected, and it's not what I need. In the photo, this and other necklaces are shown as if they were double strings and somewhat short in length -- not a choker, but not long either. I already have a long purple necklace that I like very much, but I need a shorter one to go with a different dress. It is actually impossible to wear the necklace the way it is shown in the picture. There is no clasp, so it must be put on over the head, and it is long -- but not long enough to double it up. I know -- if I had read the specs and gotten out a measuring tape, I would have seen that it was long. And if I had looked very closely, I would have seen that there is no clasp. Still, I went by the photo and the photo is deceiving. So now I have two purple necklaces of the same length, but still don't have anything to wear with that other dress. Still deciding if I should return it or not.
